NYU Shanghai is a university with a global reach but is also in and of the city of Shanghai. Community Engaged Learning combines meaningful academic learning with community research and/or service. Projects in Community Engaged Learning seek to enhance the global education of undergraduate students by increasing and deepening their engagement with the surrounding community.
The Office for Community Engaged Learning assists faculty and community partners develop reciprocal relationships that can help students understand China more deeply and make a positive impact on local needs.
